Eric Doeringer nasceu em 1974 nos Estados Unidos e vive e trabalha em Los Angeles, Califórnia. Formou-se em 1996 pela Brown University e obteve mestrado (MFA) pela School of the Museum of Fine Arts, em Boston, em 1999.
